With the renewal of the 2017 Jeep Renegade model, Jeep is planning to offer some more versatility on their part and give the fans something smaller to chose from. As the iconic Wrangler has been getting bigger and bigger with each new release and the competition has only managed to grow in size with each new model, there is a great new for compact SUVs and crossovers. This is way the redesign of the Jeep Renegade is the perfect move at this point.
Jeep is not only presenting the newest Renegade as there are also plans to make the Patriot and the Compass models. As we mentioned, the market is creating a demand for much more compact cars and Jeep is there to give the fans what they want. They have decided to kick things off with the Renegade as this is what they feel will benefit the audiences the most.
This design is a small and cheeky looking vehicle. It has a boxy design but also makes for a lot of practicality which is overflowing from each side of the truck. It does sport a humble unibodied crossover design, but manages to squeeze in sports off-road friendly dimensions and also comes with a Trailhawk model.
Everything in this review is what we were able to find out about the Jeep Renegade 2017 and are representing it for you with the price estimation and a possible release date.
The interior of the 2017 Jeep Renegade has some familiar elements added to its inside. From the looks of it is seems that the latest Renegade takes a lot of inspiration from the current look of the latest Wrangler model. The materials and design is taken from its bigger brother but is made a little bit smaller here and adds sports-equipment style fittings. This look is actually called a “Tek-tonic” one and evokes a very rugged atmosphere that you would not expect to see from the smallest Jeep model.
But the comfort levels in the interior are at its highest peak. The seats are set at an absolutely perfect height and there is plenty of headroom available well. The thick A-pillars may look a bit strange at first and will take some time to get used to them, but actually does not block your view as you would expect it to be. You can choose from a six and a half-inch touchscreens which provide information on any necessary piece of information and it is placed in the center stack of the car. The front seats have heaters and the steering wheel is also equipped with those also and finally there is the nine-speaker Beats sound system which has a subwoofer and a 506-watt amp.
The exterior of the 2017 Jeep Renegade sports a square-rigged styling, but this does not prevent it in being one of the best looking Jeep models on the market. The car is a little bit trimmed and smoothed down on its corners while the incorporation of the seven-slot grille seems much more natural this time as it looks like it emerges from the shape of the car and fits well with the rounded headlights. The hood design is shaped in the way that it resembles the classic Jeep models with large taillights patterned like fuel-toting jerry cans.
There is a range of new colors brought to the model as it makes the car look brighter and much more interesting. The addition of the Omaha Orange and Solar Yellow color pallets announces the arrival of the car in a cheerful way this time and it arrives using unique 17-inch wheels with bright red tow hooks. You can pick your wheels in bright chrome or imposing black trims and make your Renegade even more interesting. Finally, you can opt for the removable “MySky” roof panels and get an open 2017 Renegade model any time you wish.
