The release date of the 2017 Honda CRV is getting ever so closely so it was fitting to offer the fans of this model a review that they could be able to study and determine what the model is going to offer. There have been a lot of changes announced already and many of them are going to make the vehicle better, but should we consider this model a better version of itself or is it a bit too much and something that we do not need right now.
Well the fist question is if the car ranks better in terms of its looks compared to the previous generation. This is going to be the next-gen vehicle and the model did mad its last one a few years ago, more precisely in 2012 with an update made in 2015. Well actually this new model plans to expand on the features that were renewed for the 2015 model and is going to build up upon them and make a significantly better offer compared to the last one.
To some extent this model is going to be the class leader that is for sure, and we can actually leave a lot of that to the interior setup that is offered here. The model has many enhancements brought to us on the inside and makes it a significantly better vehicle that its rivals. The update concentrates equally well on the inside as we are going to get something much better than the competition has to offer. All in all, the 2017 Honda CRV is something that we should keep an eye out for.
The exterior of the 2017 Honda CRV is going to be highly updated. This means that we are going to get a different kind of a look which is going to shape the vehicle in its newest and bravest look. In fact the last generation vehicle was not so modern nor was it brave looking at all. This was not changed with the remodeling that came after that and we see that the next generation model is going to address this issue. The car is being offered in a new shape and we hope in its newest design. For the update, they have looked at the way the Honda Pilot was designed. The same type of shaping and modeling is expected to emerge here and the vehicle is going to follow the design pattern of their latest product.
Except the great Pilot design, we can expect to see something from the HR-V design which is going to bring a bit of a sportier look to the CRV now. The wheelbase of the current one is relatively short and amounts to 103.1 inches, so the new model is going to make it a bit larger this time. The car is going to be longer compared to before but don’t compare a third row of seats to be placed inside as Honda offers you the Odyssey for that. Yet the longer exterior is going to allow for more headroom on the inside.
The inside of the 2017 Honda CRV is going to give us a much uspcale looking desing on the interior. The high-grade detaisl are someting that shows us in whcih direction teh CRV has decided to go. First of all, some applications and amenities that were only seen in the upper trim models are going to migrate and become part of the standard offer of equipment. The pushbutton ignition and the Display Audio system which comes with a dashboard touchscreen and Android auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity is going to be a part of the standard setup that is going to be offered here. It makes the vehicle much more high grade and useful.
Other features that we can expect include dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, power driver passenger seats, and heated rear seats. The CRV is going to add a Honda Sensing suite of driver-assists to its offer which is going to be a first for this model. Before it was only offered in the Touring trims as a standard feature but now you have it even in the base version. This system actually includes a forward-collision alert and automatic braking, lane-departure warning and self-correcting steering, adaptive cruise control and traffic alert. This offer has worked well for the Honda Civic model and we are excited to have it here with the 2017 Honda CRV as well.
The 2017 Honda CRV engine option has been confirmed and it will be the 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. This model is a similar one that we have seen on the last Civic model as it made its first showcasing right there. This option would be able to put out 174 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. The second engine option that you can get is the 2.4-liter 4-cylinder which is rated at 185 horsepower and 181 pound-feet of torque. But even though the second one is stringer by all means, the former one does offer a better drive feel and response so it may be regarded as a primary choice by most buyers right now. The rated fuel economy for the FWD one is 26/33/29 mpg city/highway/combined while the AWD is 25/31/27.

The top of the line and also the priciest is always the Touring trim and comes at a base MSRP level of $33,300. The vehicle is getting its release date by the end of the year and is going to appear in the market by the beginning of next year or at least by its first quarter.
