2016 Subaru WRX Hatchback Review

There have been a lot of news with the release of the newest 2016 Subaru WRX model. Actually, the news is not old as this idea emerged back in 2011 which saw the new Impreza model separated from its WRX brand. This was supposed to happen immediately after the Subaru Impreza comes out in its third generation model. The WRX model is going to share the platform with the WRX STI which is going to be more unique than the one that we had now.

This news was even announced back in 2013 before the concept model ever reached the stage of the New York Auto show. We were able to see the spy photos about this model as it was already doing laps around the Nürburgring race track. Now the model is scheduled to make its official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show with a release date coming already this year.

As the wheelbase of the car has been extended by an entire inch, the interior will get some extra legroom. We also get a much more raked windshield and more trunk capacity for a larger load. Thanks to the flat-bottom, leather-wrapped steering wheel the interior of the WRX is going to be much more sportier and is going to integrate well with all the features that we now have. The dashboard adds some new soft trim materials which are also used for the door panels and the center armrest. This model adds more storage compartments all over the car which makes it a lot easier for the passengers and the driver to put away some things while driving.
