For those of you who seem a bit confused by the resemblance of the 2016 Opel Insignia to the 2013 Opel Monza Concept, there’s no need to stress about that anymore. Apparently the 2016 Opel Insignia’s design was greatly borrowed from the 2013 Opel Monza Concept owing to the fact that its basis has front-wheels Epsilon II platform.
The car’s body material is made of aluminum which reduces its overall weight and in turn lowers fuel consumption while at the same time gives a firm basis. This change also boosts the car’s overall strength. From the front, one can spot fresh grilles, modern design headlights on the redesigned front bumper. From the rear view, everything seems to be the same as before most likely to preserve the car’s customary look.
