2016 Nissan Qashqai Release Date, Price, Specs, Engine – An upcoming new model of Qashqai from Nissan, well that sure was first. It was just less than a week after reports indicated that Nissan was planning to bring a compact model of Qashqai into the Northern American soil, a shadowy version of the crossover was spotted doing some test drives by one of our All About Cars ‘detective’ in Spain with very little camouflage.
We all know that the vehicle was only introduced last year donning minor changes, our best guess for this vehicle would be the prototype could be U.S bound this time round. The automaker hasn’t even confirmed or denied the existence of a smaller Rogue variant, and there are no clear directions as to whether the model will come beforehand or after the forthcoming new Rogue Variant.
However, when it finally does, it is very probable that the automaker won’t be obliged to bring the Qashqai nameplate along and will instead shift its focus and energy on the Rogue-based name in the same fashion as the Rogue Select did.
It still remains a mystery what Nissan is thinking about concerning the upcoming new crossover, however, going by the same wave as other internet sources, I will be indebted to call it Qashqai for the sake of continuity and clarity especially for our novice readers.
