2016 Nissan Maxima Release Date, Review, Price, Specs – The Nissan Maxima model turns thirty five years old this year, having started a long journey in the 80’s as a square machine that exemplified everything that looked wrong especially the design cues at the time. At the time, one would think that the Maxima was a combination of Mercedes 300D and Chrysler K car.

The upcoming new 2016 Nissan Maxima is definitely the car to drive, it comes with some high tech specs that will certainly put it above the rest in its class. It comes with a dramatic styling that many would confuse it with the Mazda.

As we shall see in the review below, it will be important to note that the new Maxima comes with a longer and lower body than its immediate predecessor which is sadly an unfortunate trend that has continued unabated.

The new vehicle will also be lighter by 82 pounds in comparison to its previous model which weighed in excess of 3500 pounds. The extra increment in length will go a long way in ensuring that the new and upcoming Maxima delivers on stability and cabin space.

The V motion styling will inspire the new vehicle to come with boomerang headlights, kicked-up rear roof pillar, LED running lights and blacked-out roof pillars.

The above mentioned features will make the 2016 Nissan Maxima appear as if it’s floating on top of the car according to the pictures released. The new car will also feature a palette of colours among them will be two exclusive ones which will include Coulis Red and Forged Bronze.

Premium cloth will come as standard in the base S version of the Maxima, while other trim levels which include the 3.5SL and 3.5SV will come with leather seat upholstery.

Buyers should expect the top trim version (SR) to come with premium Alcantara leather or diamond-quilted premium leather for the Platinum model. All the 2016 Nissan Maxima trim versions will come with 8-way electric adjustment.

The rear seats will offer a 60/40 split folding design that will provide an additional 14.3 cubic feet of cargo space. Moreover, potential buyers have the option of choosing between Cashmere and Charcoal interior colours.

Nissan will offer no factory options for the vehicle and buyers will be required to choose a trim level and choose their accessory package from the dealer. Some of the accessories will include leather upholstery, heated front seats, dual-panel panoramic roof, heated steering wheel, 11-speaker premium audio system, power rear window sunshade and a host of safety features.
