There is always one thing that seems to mesmerize everyone about Italian exotics – new or old. They will definitely grab your attention and lately our attention has been grabbed by Lamborghini’s new entrant known as the V10 Huracan. But that is not the only gem that the Italian company is set to showcase in the near future as there are talks of the release of 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce.
In case you have been looking for a super velocity then the novel 2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP 750-4 Superveloce is the toy to look for. The Italian exotic will brag of features which will span from a full Italian flair combined with amazing revving to sleek interior design and super car functionality.
The British magazine AutoCar recently reported that the new Aventador SV Roadster is set to be unveiled this month at the Pebble Beach Concourse. Unfortunately, the drop top version will only be limited to around 500 units and the performance figures are expected to be similar to those of its siblings.
Exterior Design – Lamborghini Aventador 2016
Despite the supercar being covered in lots of camouflage, a discerning eye reveals plenty of hints. The prototype is a drop-top version of the recently unmasked Aventador SV. The first and conspicuous clue lies right below the Aventador’s pointy nose, in the form of an assertive-looking apron that integrates the massive air intakes and splitter seen on the coupe version.
A second hint lies on the posterior end of the vehicle, which resembles the coupe’s from top to bottom. There is a menacing diffuser and an exhaust system mounted at the center and four pipes that make the Roadster all but a certainty.
Few details will be sure to set the vehicle apart from its sibling, and I’m not just confined to the removable top. The hood of the engine seems dissimilar which applies to all Roadsters. There is the Magneto-Rheological dampers that have been added to the push-rod style suspension system, while the Dynamic Steering has been retuned.
The vehicle will also ride on new upgraded matte black 20” wheels at the front and have been wrapped in 255/35 Pirelli tires and 21” at the rear adorned with sporty 355/25s. At the back will also see installation of 15” carbon ceramic brake rotors, 4-calliper pistons at the back and 6-pistons at the fore.

The cabin is built for business, but you should also expect surprising levels of comfort and creature refinement. You will immediately notice that the carbon fiber is more exposed here, including the woven Carbon Skin materials found on the headliner.
The Superveloce will indeed join the ultra-high performance crowd, by going all TFT for the gauge panel. Upping the wow factor is the yellow race-style display for anyone you will allow to sit on the driver’s seat. And of course despite all the trouble the vehicle’ manufacturer has undergone to produce a high performance car, unfortunately the Superveloce will still find itself clogged on the streets of LA and Miami.
Price & Release Date of the New 2016 Lamborghini Aventador
The pricing of this magnificent vehicle will not only rob your children’s inheritance but college education also. The 2016 Lamborghini Aventador will go for sale with an MSRP tag of around 493,095 USD. The production of this marvelous creation will be capped to 600 units just as before.
The release date has not yet been indicated to date but we expect the Superveloce to be unmasked anytime from now.
Engine Specs – 2016 Lamborghini Aventador
Under the hood of the new 2016 Lamborghini Aventador will be the glorious naturally aspirated V12 that is responsible for generating around 740 hp and 509 pounds of torque. This enormous power will consequently be transmitted via the seven-speed Independent Shifting Rods and Haldex four generation AWD system.
For current users, the additional 49 hp will emanate from the 500 revs allowed through the optimized valve train. With power addition comes weight subtraction. The weight will be reduced by around 110 pounds, mostly through the extensive use of carbon fiber inserts, lighter seats, lighter exhaust system and removal of sound deadening.
The aforesaid engine will be able to make the vehicle accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.8 seconds. The driving dynamics can also be managed through the Drive Select system, for Sport, Strada or Corsa.
The Italian automaker claims that the vehicle will not only be the fastest ever production car, but will also be the most emotional one. We are not sure which emotions they are referring to; but longing, fear, intimidation, and delight are some among many that come to mind.
