2016 Kia Cadenza review

The 2016 Kia Cadenza is close to its release date. The vehicle has been announced with the recent pictures of it emerging from the Korean side, where the car is known under the name of K7. The new model is not going to be available for Korea of course as they are also planning to release it in the US. The new model is going to introduce us to the second-generation Cadenza vehicles that were already due to appear.2016 Kia Cadenza headlights and alloy wheels

The first Cadenza vehicle was produced back in 2010 and was designed in order to replace the highly acclaimed but not that particularly good looking Amanti car. The Kia Cadenza opened up a whole new chapter for the luxury line of vehicles coming from Korea. The line was supposed to rival such vehicles that came from Mercedes-Benz and BMW and it more than managed to achieve that. In 2014 it was introduced for the first time to the US market and shortly after it received its first major facelift. It quickly made the Cadenza a popular vehicle as it offered a very nice base engine version at an affordable rate and an overall nice setup which was very beneficial to all of the people who wanted this car.

The end of the first and the beginning of the second generation of Cadenza vehicle is going to be characterized by a massive overhaul that the cars are going to be given. This means changing the style of the vehicle, updating the luxury features that the car has and making the 6 –cylinder engine even more powerful than it currently is. The vehicle has already been spotted as a camouflaged prototype doing rounds and after it is done testing it will make its way to the roads and our homes as well. According to the announcements of the designers, the 2016 Kia Cadenza is going to incorporate a similar look to the already popular design. The vehicle is going to retain its current form but it will be largely updated and be given a lot of new details making it visibly the next generation vehicle. The car is going to have a wider and longer stance which is firstly characterized by a longer hood from before. The sedan has also been seen with new bumper intakes and a massive outlet added at the front for the new LED daytime running lights. Additionally, the newly designed headlamps are also noticeable. Generally speaking, the Kia Cadenza is going to be much more premium looking but it will hold a few sporty details that will refresh the vehicle in many ways and bring forth the introduction of a next generation car like that.

The back side of the vehicle also receives some much more sportier details than before. You can see the newly designed taillights that have been made in a sportier manner while there are also the new exhaust tips that combine with a crisper looking bumper and make for a much better looking back side than before. The rear fascia has an added chrome stripe that goes just above the taillights and into the trunk lid which results in a much more upscale look now. The car has a longer wheelbase without a doubt and rear overhangs and also adds a much cleaner waistline.

The interior of the 2016 Kia Cadenza is still a bit of a mystery. The least amount of information has been released about the inside of the car, but as Kia has already stated they aim to make it as luxurious and fresh as they could and they plan to do it by using the sense of width and spaciousness that the vehicle will provide the passengers. The designers have also announced the highest amount of quality materials ever before seen inside a Cadenza as they are planning to enhance the comfort levels in an exponential way. What the car particularly needs is a clear setup so we do hope to see an dashboard which is not cluttered by buttons or some excess materials and parts placed on it. The current car is already an exclusive standout on the inside so we expect the new one to be at least as half as better than the last one.

The car is going to have a slightly longer wheelbase from before which in turn offers more inside room and perhaps a different kind of a layout incorporated on the interior. This layout will bring more room to the passengers and particularly more legroom to the people driving at the back. The cargo area is going to receive a boost as well and will at the same time have more space and a larger boot with its 15.9 cubic feet of space. The folding rear seats are supposed to bring you even more trunk space as additional room can be made available that way.

It appears that the vehicle is not going to change engines for the upcoming model year as the 2016 Kia Cadenza is going to stick to the same pwerplant. The V-6 engine is no slouch and still manages to deliver good specs thus the 3.3-liter V-6 engine is going to be kept for this year as its primary power source. Perhaps some additional engine options are going to be made available in the future as secondary options but for now only the base one has been made available. The power output is set at 340 horses and 310 pound-feet of torque and the performance of 0-60 mph is going to be set at 6.9 seconds and a better fuel economy. The car is going to give us an EPA rating of 19 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 22 mpg combined, making it a better choice for the upcoming year.
