2016 BMW M5 Release Date, Specs, MSRP Price, Review – BMW has decided to release its M5 sedan vehicle for the 2016 model year. The car is a known part of the BMW lineup and will appear again as a renovated vehicle. The M division from BMW has been known to have produced a number of high-performance sedans and the new M5 is not going to be an exception. The new car is larger and heavier than before, but also will put out perhaps the best driving and performance abilities till now.
The car is already known for its awesome ability on the road, in fact the whole M vision is known for putting out great numbers. This time the car will pack 560 hp and will come with a choice of manual and automatic shifters, but go with the automatic one, trust us. The updated electronic driving aids make the car more sophisticated which results with some exceeded abilities on the track.
The car will be released by the end of the year as BMW wants to make it available as soon as possible. The price is also set and may seem affordable, yet there are some additions and accessories that will raise the bar a bit when the price is at hand. All the reviews about this car till now have stated that this one is a great addition, read on further to see our take about the new 2016 BMW M5 car.
2016 BMW M5 exterior
The car has not been significantly remodeled when it comes to its exterior look. Yes, there are a few tweaks here and there and a number of additions that makes sure that the car is a new one but in fact the entire car looks pretty much similar than before. But the greatest addition which comes available with this year’s model, and also with the M6 coupe and the convertible version, is the Competition package. Concerning with the look, the package adds black-chrome exhaust pipes and also enables the retuning of rear differential.
To mention the standard parts of the design that have been kept or changed, we see the new grille design that has been made for this model and will be a part of its standard look for this year. The added air intakes at the front are not only there for aesthetic reasons but also increase cooling and make the performance of the engine better. The quad tailpipes are also something to look at and notice about the design of the car and the wheel option remains a non-standard one but we are not sure which one will be the base.
The interior has not been formally reveled to a great extent. We do not have many things to go on the inside of the car and we only have the few available information that have been released so far. Yet the inside is supposed to be comfy and technically sound and will be remodeled to fit to any driver and vehicle user. The competition package is also an important part for the inside of the car as it changes the look that the car receives. But the added package sacrifices the comfort of the car a bit but it is a small price to pay if you want to enjoy a racy type of a vehicle that this car brings to the table. The steering has been altered in this sense and provides you with different characteristics, yet the best kind of steering ability comes within the Comfort mode. The specs about the interior will be released soon and we are hoping on updating the vehicle’s interior info soon.
For now the news is that the car is going to use the same engine as before, which means that under the hood a 4.4-litre V8 power engine is matted. This is an engine setup that is supposed to be used in the next-gen super cars so the M5 really receives a lot of boost in using it. It will make a total of 592bhp and 516lb ft of torque and will also combine the use of a xDrive four-wheel drive. The engine comes with both the offered automatic and manual gear shifter, but as we mentioned before the automatic one has proven to be a better choice. The added Competition Package also does quite a number on the performance of the vehicle as well. It does not only enable it to speed up faster but also provides a number of tweaks to tits performance that other cars cannot dream of achieving. The 0-60 mph is achieved at 3.7 seconds.
Release date and price
The fans are hoping that the new 2016 BMW M5 gets to be released as soon as possible, so that is why BMW are pushing to make it available for the end of the year. But as there are a number of things that need to be arranged particularly in the cockpit area the reality might be that we get to wait for the car a bit longer than expected. Maybe next year is a more realistic estimation about the release date. On the other hand the estimated base price of the vehicle is set at $100,425 MSRP. The added Competition Package boosts the price by an added $7,300.
