2016 Audi TTS Release Date, MSRP Price, MPG, Interior – The 2016 marks the release of the new Audi TTS vehicles. As the renewal of the TT brand has already been done it was a no brainer that the TTS counterpart was to follow suit immediately after that. If you are in line for sporty sedans and roadster vehicles, this is the one for you. The newest updated features a opulent amount of additions and changes that increase the potential of the new TTS vehicle.
If we were to judge the TTS by exterior only, then we would immediately label it as a sports vehicle. The stripes and design of the car does not leave us to think otherwise, but in fact the car can be so much more. Looking at the inside you will see some updates that are not an everyday addition to a sports vehicle but it is something that makes the car better and makes it look good. The combination of different interiors and exterior design is something that is very peculiar, but it is amazing how well it looks together.
The car is going to get its US release date in the recent moths as they are planning to make it available by the end of the year. Let’s hope they stick to their plan as it would be amazing to see the 2016 TTS car in action as soon as possible. The price is not too shabby and the performance rates have risen as well. The pictures will tell you how the car looks and the review will explain the specs and all the needed details about the car that you need to know.
2016 Audi TTS interior
The interior of the new TTS has been completely redesigned. The first thing that you notice about the Audi TTS is of course its crisp exterior look, but the best is yet to come when you go inside. The car has more of sportiness to it and has changed for the ultimately better. The car looks great and feels great and there is a larger focus on the driver as it enables not just driving comfort but usefulness when driving as all of the major controls and panels have been placed in front of the driver for better use. The transformation also channels the sports car vibe in a better way, making every fan of this brand and of sporty vehicles interested of this model.
As we said all the controls are in front of the driver and they include all the interface related features and the infotainment system for the car. The infotainment screen is center stacked for a better look and easier use. The 12.3-inch high-contrast display, the new Audi Virtual Cockpit display, voice controls, steering-wheel toggles and an MMI Touch scratch pad down at the center console are all neatly laid out for the driver to use. It increases the technological ability of the car and introduces it in modern times much quicker than any other vehicle on the market.
The exterior does get an update, but it keeps the profile that we have seen from the previous TTS car. The car is recognizable in every way and you can easily distinguish that much of the car has been carried over but there is some fine tuning here and there that makes the car more innovative. For instance, the overhangs have been tucked in a bit while the corners of the car have been chiseled a bit. This actually makes the car seem wider in some sense but it actually depends on the angle you look at it. The car may also seem a bit high-shouldered than before, but the trick is that it is not nor is it wider. The truth is quite the opposite but the designer’s effect makes it seem so in the eyes of the viewer.
People who know there cars will doubtlessly notice the influence of the R8 vehicle added to the front of the car, but it is included in a toned down way that it flies under the radars and does not seem as a complete copy. What the car has also received at the front are the newly designed headlights which now add the LED technology to the mix. The new grille has a trapezoidal shape with the new creased design of the hood make the new appearance for the TTS 2016 model look much more menacing than before.
The engines will be kept the same as before and there are not many changes concerning the performance of the car. The new Audi TTS vehicle will come powered with a high-performance boosted a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 292 hp and 280 lb-ft. The TT version uses the same engine but with a performance that stands at 220 hp and 258 lb-ft. But the key difference from before is the use of lighter materials that shed a lot of weight from the structure of the car. This allows for a lot better acceleration specs that give 4.6 seconds time for he TTS to speed up from 0 to 60 mph. The manual shifter is gone this time and you only have the S-tronic dual-clutch automatic one now left.
Price and release date
The new 2016 Audi TTS gets to see the light of day pretty soon and it will arrive by the end of the year. The exact release date will be known pretty soon but expect the TT version to come out first and then make way for the TTS one. The price is set somewhere between 42,900 USD and 46,400 USD base MSRP, depending on the additions and the inclusions the car receives.
