2016 Audi S3 Sedan Review

The new sporty looking 2016 Audi S3 sport sedan is back. Audi is releasing a new version of its already established model and is making a great new addition to their current flock of cars. This is going to be the second year this car is around and they are concentrating more on the looks this time as the car is getting sharper design with more handsome details than the original version sued to have.

The S3 sedan can best be described as being the distant relative of the A3 family cars. It has all of the features that the A3 has and builds up by adding a few of their own and of course keeping to it’s kind of dimensions that were made.

But what the greatest advantage of this model is that this is the most fun to drive vehicle out of all the ones from the clan and the family. It has all new hardware and technology added to it that makes the A3 look pedestrian like while it provides an engaging experience and a driving method that most will for sure like.

The car is going to have a very fierce competition in the form of the best car to buy for the 2014 production year, and that is the Mercedes-Benz CLA45 AMG. This model has it all but the Audi S3 sedan is no slouch and can prove to be a great and more affordable alternative to the vehicle that we have in front of us. Make sure you get to read the whole review so you understand what the vehicle is going to be all about.

2016 Audi S3 sedan exterior design

What the exterior look of the 2016 Audi S3 brings to the table is a large among of mainstream appeal. The styling of this model is owed to the successful formula that Audi has been using for all of its recent vehicles. This design language that Audi has been using for its S3 makes does not make the car look short or blunt as we are able to witness based on its dimensions, but the styling helps it gain a much more stable and appealing line that really launches the car into a higher gear.

The front side sees that addition of the trademark Audi LED eye shadow that is being added as standard. This is a trademark look for most of the Audi sedans and it looks brilliant here. The car also gets a full LED treatment that turns the keyhole into something completely new that the car did not have before. This is a identifiable mark for the model and is a part of the car which makes it stand out from other models and is going to make it a head-turner once you see it on the streets.

The interior of the 2016 Audi S3 sedan keeps things simple. They do not go too much over the top by adding too much of the details inside and keep it pretty appropriate. It is a spartan type of a look when it compares to the outrageous looking and very cool A7. The wood trim from the previous model has been excluded for the 2016 one and only retains some fine leather but not in a persistent way. They have generally toned down the overall shaping and there is a particularly noticeable less attention made to the details of the interior. The big and enormous vents are completely gone and removed from the dash. But the S3 cabin is more than appropriate this way and keeps to a more useful and a drivable state than some other cars from the lineup.

The distinguishing parts are present and noticed under the hood of the 2016 Audi S3 sedan, as it does not have a hybrid plug in nor a turbodiesel option like the A3 comes with. Instead the car is being fitted with a turbocharged  2.0-liter direct-injected engine which has a forced-induction inline-4 that outputs 292 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The powertrain is estimating a power force of 4.8 seconds to reach 0-60 mph  which also allows for a top speed of 155 mph. The gearbox that bolsters the powertrain is the a 6-speed version which is a good fit for the car.
