Exterior photos of New Aston Martin db9 2016
Exterior wise, it would prove to be difficult to tell whether it’s a db9 GT or a db9 model since most of the exterior cues are almost similar (this is assuming you weren’t looking at their badges).
The anterior and posterior splitter have now been painted black, additionally there are new sets of 20” wheels which are also painted black. Around the taillights and headlights is a new trim. If you look closely at photos, there are carbon fibre taillights inserts which will be provided optionally.
The db9 model has been in production for the last 11 years, which is quite some time for a high performance vehicle. The vehicle got a new lease of life after it borrowed the 6L V12 engine from the Vanquish model.
The engine previously in the Vanquish provided around 450 hp, but with some performance tweaks saw the number jump to around 476 hp in 2008, and by up to 510 hp two years ago. The 2016 Aston Martin db9 GT model scores higher, up to 537 hp.
