2016 Hyundai Elantra GT

The recently announced 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT is finally going to be given its official release date. The car has earned its stripes from its meager beginnings and is now a full-fledged member of the Hyundai roster. As the vehicle’s popularity has been growing for over the past period it was only appropriate to give it a new updated that comes just on time for the 2016 season.

The first Elantra car has been established by Hyundai back in the 1990s, but it was not immediately a popular choice among buyers. It took almost 20 years for the Elantra to be considered as a contender and to make it to the prospective list of every buyer as its popularity exploded in 2010 when the sales grew significantly. As the car now is already in the ranks of Golf, Mazda and Focus vehicles it was only sane that a new update was made available for the 2016 model year.

What has been changed for the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT is the exterior look, with the greatest emphasis put on the front part of the car and its nose. The inside now has a full new set of gadgets that are not only interesting but useful to use. Read the entire review and decide for yourself whether the new Elantra GT will be good enough to retain the top selling position for yet another year.

As we mentioned, the most part of the exterior redesign of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT was made to the front part. The car receives a pretty good nose job now as the dual-element grille with the crossbar has been completely removed from the picture and adds a horizontal design which goes from top to bottom of the grill part of the car. The last year’s rounded edges of the grille have been replaced by an angular outline which results in a more mature and grown up look this time. This feature is something that is spread across the entire Hyundai lineup and is a good choice for the Elantra GT as well.

Other parts of the car are mostly carried over so the body of the car is completely the same and the nose part is the only thing that differentiates it from the previous look. Additionally, another small change is the new 17-inch wheels which have a special new design which the Hyundai has called a “euroflange” design. Compared to before, the Hyundai Elantra GT is a refined sports vehicle with a chrome beltline and optional LED taillights.

Interior

The interior part of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT is limited to the optional equipment the car receives. The car will remain the same for the better part of the inside and will not change drastically compared to before. The added equipment includes an available next-gen navigation system with HD radio and Siri, ventilated front seats, a next-generation Blue Link system with remote start that also has destination search and climate control. Other parts of the car will remain the same you can still fit 5 people inside as the car comes with an available spacing of 96 cubic feet and a cargo area of 51 cubes. The car still remains a comfy vehicle with the leading numbers in the class in shoulder space.

The car also has some very useful storage parts located on the dash and at the sides of the doors. Specially made for the Elantra are some elements which include a front storage tray, a cooled glove box, front and rear cup holders, a sunglasses holder, front seatback pockets and many more. The upscale model get some special equipment pats as a 7-inch touchscreen and dual-zone climate control are added with also the 172-watt audio system with AM/FM/SiriusXM capabilities and Bluetooth streaming audio for entertainment.

Engine

Under the hood of the 2016 Hyundai Elantra GT is the same engine as before. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter Nu GDI engine that makes 173 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 154 pound-feet of twist at 4,700 rpm. The engine has been tweaked up a bit and delivers 4,000 and 5,500 rpm of torque if necessary. You can combine the engine with a six-speed manual transmission or the optional Shiftronic auto transmission with manual mode. The EPA ratings are good but perhaps not as great as they only measure 24 mpg city, 33 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined. This is perhaps good for the class but needs to be much better. The car will have similar acceleration rates as before and will be able to reach 60 mph in around an 8 second limit.

Price and release date

The 2016 Hyundai Elanatra GT will be available next year and its release date is set for around the period of the start of the year. The starting price for the base version is $18,800, or $19,800. if you want it with an automatic transmission.

2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo

The latest news about the 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo vehicle have arrived and the car is being released next year. The vehicle has been given a mild update which focuses mainly on the exterior features and some inside specs as well, but the engine is going to be kept the same. This may come as a disappointment to the fans which have expected it to be a more powerful competitor against the Volkswagen Golf GTI car in terms of performance, but the Veloster Turbo will keep the same engine characteristics that it had before.

The Hyundai Velsoter Turbo was the first compact vehicle that was released from the Korean automaker sporting a turbocharged engine. It was first showcased in 2012 and made its debut on the home market of South Korea. The vehicle was then released at some other markets around the world and the latest 2016 version is going to continue the popularity of the car and is meant to keep it going for the upcoming period.

This facelift of the car has been made as an introduction to the next-gen Velsoter car. As they have not tried to enhance the abilities of the current hatch they concentrated more on introducing the newest variants that will be a part of the newest vehicle. But it does not all end here as the newest model will also receive an updated transmission system. Actually instead of a six-speed automatic will be replaced with a seven-speed, dual-clutch gearbox that was used for the i30 model. It will give a slightly better performance rate and also provide a better fuel economy for the car. Read the rest of the review and check all the important news about the new car coming from Hyundai.

2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo exterior

This new 2016 Hyundai Velsoter Turbo has only gained minor changes to its newest appearance. In fact, to the untrained eye it will look mostly the same as the changes are almost noticeable as they are minor in their nature. It appears that Hyundai has gone for the BMW update method, something that they said they were never do. Change only some minor details and leaving around 99 percent of the car unchanged is something that can be considered a disappointment for the fans that have been expecting more with this update. But the thing that they got was a silver trim to the grille which was kept the same and crosses to the new model completely unchanged. We confess it does make the car look much more premium looking but that is about it. There aren’t even added crease to the bumper nor the hood made.

There are some changes made to the headlamps though. The graphics of the front lamps and the taillights has been changed and updated and the car also receives some new fog lights and a new alloy wheel design. Everything else is virtually identical to before. The previous model had a sportier and rugged feel to it while the newest one enjoys a much upscale and premium look, so depending on your preferences you will chose between these two models.

Interior

The interior changes of the 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo are much larger and appealing. The new model will make a large benefit from the added features and changes and is something that makes the car a lot better. The inside is far better updated than the outside and shows us that this is something that will be used for the future cars. The center stack now has a more intelligent button configuration setup, making it easier for use. The steering wheel has been reworked and has gone through certain changes which help you with some better handling abilities for the car. The instrument cluster has also been updated and there are some newest additions added there.

Some interesting new features and entertainment fact is a new Beats audio system that will keep your entertained for hours during your rides. You will be able to enjoy your hours more in the new seats that are confirmed and also include three new accent colors, blue, gray, and a burnt orange-like hue. The final feature is an engine equalizer which reduces the noise made by the engine. You can choose one of the six available engine soundtracks that will cover the sound and substitute with a more enjoyable one of your choice.

Engine

The engine inside the 2016 Hyundai Velsoter Turbo is going to be kept the same and it is just going to transfer it from the previosu year setup. The 1.6-liter, four-cylinder  is going to produce the same numbers as last year, meaning 201 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 195 pound-feet of twist delivered from 1,750 rpm. The European version will be also this year offered with only 184 horsepower.

As the engine does not come with any changes, the transmission system sees an innovation. The seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic, that was used for the first time on the i30 Turbo, will make its appearance on the 2016 Veloster. The six-speed manual from before is going to be carried over as well. There have not been any official updates about the performance of the car but it is safe to assume that the specs will amount to around 6.8 seconds to reach 0-60 mph while the EPA ratings for the manual shifter will be the same as before, 27 mpg in the city and 38 mpg on the highway, and the newest one will see some improvements.

Price and release date

The 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo has already made its debut in January this year but there is no word about its release date for other markets and particularly about the US one as well. We are hoping to see it by the end of next year but a more realistic date will certainly be around June. The price for the US market will also be available when the release date is known, but initial rates say it is going to be around $22,600 for the manual and  $23,600 for the automatic shifter.

2016 Hyundai Sonata Release Date, Review, Price, Engine – The release date of the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata is approaching very fast and it would be very reasonable for use to provide a review of what we expect from the new Sonata. This post will revolve around the most obvious things that would-be buyers and Sonata enthusiasts would be looking for from their vehicle.

The auto maker has kept some few things in the dark, however our eavesdropping mechanism is sophisticated enough to render the concealed details obvious even for an automobile newbie.

The announcements already made will prove crucial in our review and the pictures already in the public domain as well. Several changes will be effected on the interior of the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata which will make use of the most technological features of the modern day era.

The design of the new car will be a carryover from the previous version and buyers shouldn’t expect any major modifications on either the interior and exterior, and the powerplant as well. However, this should not be taken to mean the new Sonata will not receive any redesigns.

Exterior Design

The exterior of the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata as mentioned above will be a carryover of the previous model and will not come with any major redesigns. Consequently, the previous generation has merely been used as the basis of the current facelift.

What was seen as a flaw in the previous generation is now the point of concern which should not be carried over in the new model. The new vehicle comes with numerous features which were conspicuously absent in the previous version.

The overall design of the exterior has been made more aerodynamic which will result in the car being able to mitigate against air resistance and therefore lead to better performances in terms of handling and maneuvering capabilities.

The vehicle looks more beautiful and elegant than ever before. This car will assuredly be a hit in the automobile market.

Interior Design and Changes

The interior of the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata will also come with high performance specs especially for its top trims. It will be more spacious than the previous model which means that it will provide more head and leg room for all its passengers.

The cargo volume has also been upped by several cubic feet which will be convenient to passengers who long for a long trip. The car as above mentioned will certainly make use of high tech features which will include infotainment and control features.

The dashboard has been reshaped and will sit magnificently at the centre so as to allow a 5” display be placed on it, other top trims will come with an optional 8” screen. The central placement of the touch screen display will prove to be very accessible and reachable to anyone wishing to use it.

The previous version’s interior was indeed modern and the current users will find the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata interior to be more sophisticated and aggressive compared to the previous one.

Engine Specs

The new 2016 Hyundai Sonata might not come with a distinct powerplant from its previous version, which derived its power from a 2.4L engine system and which had an output of roughly 185 hp.

The most likely to find its way to the current line-up especially in the base version. The engine will be mated to a six-speed auto transmission system. The current fuel economy ratings are still very good with 24/35 mpg in the city/highway.

Another engine that might turn up in the eco trim model will be a 1.6L engine with the capability of generating 177 hp. the next one would probably be a 2L Turbo charged engine which will give an output of 245 hp.

These engines will certainly be improved in order to give the vehicle a high performance feature. There are talks of a hybrid engine which will also find its way into the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata.

Under the hood of the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata hybrid, buyers should expect a 2L GDI 4 cylinder engine which will be combined to a six-speed auto transmission system. The engine will be combined to a plug-in electric motor battery which will give a combined output of around 154 hp and 190 pounds of torque.

2016 Hyundai Sonata price and release date

The release date of the new 2016 Hyundai Sonata remains shrouded in mystery and we will update the post as soon as we get new info. However, industry experts point to a possible release date of early 2016.
