2016 Suzuki Swift Release Date, Price, Interior, Specs – The Suzuki Swift Sport has undoubtedly been among our favourite hot hatchbacks. In actual fact, the vehicle has won the best price entry point within its class in several Car of the Year Awards. We can all reminisce that the entire Swift range received a facelift in 2003 and has never looked back ever since.
The first generation of the Suzuki was initially launched in the year 2000. Furthermore, the automaker went ahead 14 years later to introduce the next-gen of the model as a result of impressive sales figures posted by the first generation of the vehicle.

Currently, an AMOnline report suggests that Suzuki is back on track. And will have all the Celerios in the UK have their brake pedal assembly swapped in the near future, so that the vehicle can resume sales.
The aforementioned report continues to allege that this year and mid next year will usher in winds of change for the Suzuki automobile giant with the introduction of new vehicles having achieved an impetus from 13% growth last year for the UK market.
Gracing the new Suzuki line-up will be the Celerio, New Vintara, SX4 S-Cross and Swift while the axed models will include the Splash (Ritz), Alto (A-Star), SX4 and the old Grand Vitara.
This year and next year will see the introduction of two new models that have already been previewed by the iM-4 and iK-2 Concepts, which were showcased recently in the just concluded Geneva Motor Show.
As for the iK-2 previews a production model that will come next year and will sit above the Suzuki Swift in the Suzuki’s range of vehicles. The Indian market, on the other hand, will have the Elite i20 slaying which has been code-named YRA premium hatchback.

The Ik-2 has undoubtedly been described as the most sensible option one could have in comparison with the next gen Swift which has been scheduled to arrive somewhere in the last quarter of 2016.
