Below is a review of the all-new 2016 Lamborghini Huracan LP 610-4, which is set to take over the confines of performance specs from the outgoing Gallardo as Lamborghini’s supercar. According to industry rumors, it comes with an outrageous styling and blistering track performance and sure will be a masterpiece in the entire Lamborghini tradition. But the automaker has made a point of baking and mixing all the ingredients needed for a high-tech luxury and convenience features needed to make the Huracan less of a raging bull.
It comes with a contingent of fighter-jet-inspired lines and gaping air intakes that will make it impossible for anyone to mistake it for anything other than a Lamborghini. Under the hood of the car will be enough power that will prove handy to back up the assertive look.
A new update has revealed that the upcoming new Huracan LP 610-4 Roadster is set to be unmasked during the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.
Engine Specs – 2016 Lamborghini Huracan
Under the hood of the vehicle will be a 5.2L V10 engine capable of yielding about 601 hp rated at 8,250 rpm and 413 pounds of torque @ 6,500 rpm. The mill, which will make use of both direct and port injection to maximize the power and efficiency, will pair with a 7-speed dual clutch auto transmission system. The traditional manual system is not yet available.
With this setup in place, the Huracan will be able to sprint from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds while the top speed has been capped at around 202 mph. the vehicle will also come with accelerating supportive features meant to aide it during those high performance maneuvers.
There will be a massive, nearly fade-free carbon ceramic brakes and a magneto rheological adaptive damping system that will allow for an agile handling and ride comfort. The dampers, along with an all-wheel-drive system, steering ratio and transmission settings will all be adjustable to suit the driver’s needs.
Furthermore, there will be three drive modes in the 2016 Lamborghini Huracan: Strada, Sport, and Corse, which will be selectable through the steering wheel-mounted knob. Notably, the Corse (Race) mode will enable for a fast and easy drag strip runs.
Interior & Exterior Designs – Lamborghini Huracan 2016
Whenever it comes to V-10 powered supercars, there seems to be nothing like driving them with the top down. The Huracan Roadster will follow suit and allow you to enjoy one of the best and industry’s entertaining V-10 powerplants.
That said, the vehicle will come with an infinite headroom and will not deny access to the gorgeous soundtrack. The Roadster will come with the same interior design and bespoke features as the base model.
Important cabin highlights you should look forward to include a redesigned dashboard and center console with new switches and knobs, 12.3” TFT display screen, extensive usage of carbon fiber, high quality leather, and Alcantara.
The exterior, on the other hand, will be based on previous Roadster models, the future Huracan Roadster will be much identical to the coupe version with the only exception being the roof. I personally expect the exterior of the new car to look similar to that of the 2013 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster.
That said, we should therefore expect the Huracan to get a two-piece roof that is made entirely from carbon fiber and should be flexible enough to be stored in the luggage compartment. Dissimilar to the coupe, the Roadster should also come with a redesigned upper rear section meant to boost the support of the new removable roof.
Winding up the exterior redesign is the new engine hood. It will be featured in the new drop-top design that will be designed in form of a large piece of sheet metal with heat extractors’ capability. Apart from the novelties already mentions, the car will feature all styling cues of the Huracan, which are more assertive that the Gallardo.
Price & Release Date
The automaker is still mum about the price and expected release dates. The 2016 Lamborghini Huracan Roadster should be expected to break cover during the Geneva Motor Show slated next for year.
The price should start at around $250,000. The envisaged competition will be from the brand’s traditional rival knows as the 2016 Ferrari 488 Spider.
